Registration for the 2023-2024 Winter Season is open effective August 1, 2023. The Winter Season this year starts when the snow begins and ends the first day of Spring 2024. We stake properties the first week of November each season.
For residential seasonal clients, you can purchase a seasonal rate online based on your driveway type with a credit card or Paypal account. Once payment is received, you will get an invoice emailed to you for your records, you will be added to a service route for the 2023-2024 Winter season.
For commercial & industrial clients, service is provided based on the terms of our contract. Contact us for more details and to provide you with an estimate.
How do I sign up?
Sign up is as simple as purchasing through our website for residential clients. Your order will be processed, your sales receipt will be sent to your email, and your property will be assigned to a service vehicle. You will receive an email notification when your property is scheduled for reflective staking (late sign ups staking may not be available).
What happens when it starts snowing?
We normally leave a couple hours before the snow is scheduled to end. This gives us time to pick up salt and be at properties as soon as it ends. We don’t wait for it to stop, then go. We constantly monitor the weather, all season long.
Is seasonal service unlimited?
Yes. You will never be charged more than the seasonal amount.
What if it snows 2 feet?
Expect delays. Our trucks can get through the conditions, but traffic delays are very common. This makes it difficult to get to stops on time. It also takes much longer to clear the excessive snow with both the plows, snow blowers, and shovels when there is a lot. So it will take longer during these events.
Do you go out in the middle of the night?
Most times this is when service is done, but it all depends on when the snow falls. As a seasonal client, it is our highest priority to keep your driveway and walkways clear throughout the entire season.
How quickly are you here to clear the snow?
Things normally get done overnight so when clients wake up, the plowing is completed. The last few times out during the 2022-2023 Winter season, every property was completed within 8 hours of the snow ending. Most properties were receiving service within 6 hours. If the snows ends during the day, or if the snow ends in the early morning, you may need to deal with it until the trucks get there during the day, overnight, or morning. Depending on depth, we may require up to 24 hours after the snow ending (worst case scenario, during extreme storms, mechanical failures). If the snow exceeds several inches (8″+), expect some delays in service times due to the increased time required to clear snow at each property and common traffic delays during storms.
When does service end?
Service ends every year at the end of the Winter Season, which is during the end of March or early April.
