Registration for the 2017-2018 Winter Season is open effective September 1, 2017. The Winter Season this year starts when the snow starts and ends the first day of Spring 2018. We stake properties the first week of November each season and clients are assigned an online portal to add salting applications, view your trucks location, and add notes to our team members. Our preseason rates expire 9/30/17 and our full retail rates will apply beginning in October, so sign up early to save. If you sign up with a neighbor, you can save up to 40%.
For residential seasonal clients, you can purchase a seasonal rate online based on your driveway type with a credit card or Paypal account. Once payment is received, you will get an invoice emailed to you for your records, you will be added to a service route for the 2017-2018 Winter season, and you will receive a username and password to track your service truck during snowfalls online.
For commercial & industrial clients, service is provided based on the terms of our contract. Contact us for more details and to provide you with an estimate.
How do I sign up?
Sign up is as simple as purchasing through our website for residential and small commercial. Your order will be processed, your sales receipt will be sent to your email, and your property will be assigned to a service vehicle. All clients receive a username and password to track your snow plow vehicle online during snow events, add notes, salt, and have the ability to contact their snow removal team. You will receive an email notification when your property is scheduled for reflective staking and flagging in October. Each seasonal client receives the flagging for no additional charge when clients have signed up before October 31, 2017, and is offered for $95 extra if signed up after November 1st.
What happens when it starts snowing?
When each snowfall is ending, clients are notified by email when the trucks are starting their routes. Properties are serviced when more than 2 inches of snow falls and sticks to the pavement. In the email notification, you will have the option to add salt during the visit, as well as through your online portal.
Is seasonal service unlimited?
Yes. You will never be charged more than the seasonal amount.
What if it snows 2 feet?
Expect delays. Often our trucks can get through the conditions with ease, but other drivers on the road are not equipped to handle such conditions, causing traffic delays. It also takes longer to clear the snow with both the plows and snow blowers when there is a lot of it.
Do you go out in the middle of the night?
Most times this is when service is done, but it all depends on when the snow falls. As a seasonal client, it is our highest priority to keep your driveway and walkways clear throughout the entire season.
How quickly are you here to clear the snow?
Things normally get done overnight so when clients wake up, the plowing is completed. The last few times out during the 2016-2017 Winter season, every property was completed within 11 hours of the snow ending. Most properties were receiving service within 6 hours. If it snows ends during the day, or if the snow ends in the early morning, you may need to deal with the snow until the trucks get there during the day, overnight, or morning. Depending on depth, we may require up to 24 hours after the snow ending (worst case scenario, during extreme storms). If the snow exceeds several inches (8″+), expect some delays in service times due to the increased work load.
When does service end?
Service ends every year at the end of the Winter Season, which is during the end of March or early April.
